Normally, most of Japanese Shochu brewery take the cheep rise to make Shochu.For this time, I ordered Potato Shochu uncompromised to the quality for the rise. Kirino is the Shochu made with Yamada-Nishiki rise is the high quality one. Usually Yamada-Nishiki is taken for the making Sake. Nagisano-Atsuhime Goten is made for the express the life in the Kagoshima area's lady. Kagoshima prefecture is called for Satsuma in old time. The lady in Satsuma "Satsuma Ogojo" is very famous for inner strength in their mind, modest demeanor, and they have an infinite patience. Owner of the brewery tried to make Shochu that reflect those qualities. There is the group of the brewery called "Samurai no Kai" in Kyushu area. They always set their standard very high to make best quality Shochu. Both of Shochu are made by the group. Also I ordered some Japanese Lemon liqueur. This is so refreshing!
